The CIUSSS de l’estrie-chus Administrative Staff Union CHUS-CSN (SPACEC-CSN) and CIUSSS de l’estrie - CHUS have reached an agreement in principle that has been approved by a margin of 86 per cent.

The clerical staff, the technicians, and administrative professionals voted during a tour of special general assemblies from Oct. 22 - 30.

"We want to highlight the ratification of this agreement with our union partner. With 86 per cent approval, we understand that members have identified the elements that are relevant to their work environment as part of this agreement, "said Josée Paquette, Director of Human Resources, Communications and Legal Affairs.

"We were proud to present the agreement in principle that we believe lives up to the mandate entrusted to us. We are recording gains that will in fact benefit members, including the organization of work hours, improved accessibility to positions, and a framework for limiting travel within the territory," explained Vicky Ouellet, President of SPACEC-CSN.
