The Record is proud to partner with the benefit concert « Songs from Leonard Cohen » for CHUS Foundation. What a better way to spend an evening than with the songs of the master poet Leonard Cohen. Layered with precision, they reach deep into the heart of our human experience. performing artists Patrizia Ames and Richard Bull met between Dover and Ostend on a September's night across the English Channel. The eurotunnel did not exist then. It was another century, another millennium. She was 20 years old from Germany and he was 21 from Canada. They stuck together for better and for worst and have been carrying their voices, their poetry, their music from Montreal to New York via Europe. It was between Toronto and Montreal, more precisely in Kingston that they met the master-poet Leonard Cohen. The moment was magic. The bells rang, the birds sang. They told Patrizia and Richard to carry with humility and tenderness the master's songs on the chiaroscuro path of life.
Don't miss this concert embedded with sweetness and filled with sensuality and redemption.
The Granada Theatre on November 23, the night of the full moon, will be an evening to remember.
