The Swift Cur­rent Com­pre h e n s i ve High School golf team had a ban­ner day at their fourth an­nual SCCHS In­vi­ta­tional Golf Tour­na­ment on Thurs­day winning both the boy’s and girl’s team ti­tles as well as earn­ing six topthree fin­ishes in three in­di­vid­ual cat­e­gories.

Swift Cur­rent’s Tyler We­ston topped the boy’s grade 11/12 cat­e­gory fol­lowed by team­mates Kory McMil­lan in sec­ond and Kea­gan Barker in third.

On the girls side of the draw Her­bert’s Kait­lyn Jahnke placed ahead of a pair of Swift Cur­rent golfers. Kait­lyn Black­mer and Katie Avram both re­peated their sec­ond and third-place fin­ishes from last year re­spec­tively.

In the boy’s grade 9/10 cat­e­gory Swift Cur­rent’s Cody Scha­pan­sky fin­ished sec­ond be­hind Pre­ston Rin­dahl of Prince Al­bert Carl­ton.

In the boy’s team event Swift Cur­rent teams fin­ished first and third re­spec­tively. The four­some of Scha­pan­sky, John McCon­nell, Mickey Wal­lace, McMil­lan, and Tyson Faucher topped the event, fol­lowed by team­mates Tyler We­ston, Kyle Mil­lar, Sky­lar LeBel, and Mark Johnston in a third-place tie with Prince Al­bert Carl­ton.

In the girl’s team event the Ar­dens placed first with the trio of Black­mer, Avram, and Leah Teu­lon.

1st – Bracken, $319. Ry­lan Geiger, Sky High, 74,

4th/5th – Kevin Folk, Swift Cur­rent, 11.4, $262.

1st - Kerry Maynes, Maple Creek, 13.46, $878.
