Ram­page lacrosse team bounced by the Big Dogs

The Swift Cur­rent Dick­son Agen­cies Ram­page lacrosse team had a busy four days at home with a trio of games.

De­spite a four-goal per­for­mance from Matt Pavlovic the Ram­page fell 11-6 to the vis­it­ing Moose Jaw Mus­tangs on Thurs­day.

Pavlovic found the net on four oc­ca­sions in the sec­ond pe­riod but it was not enough as the Ram­page were un­able to over­come 38 min­utes in penal­ties.

Brody Gra­ham added a goal and two as­sists, fol­lowed by a sin­gle goal from Cody Bolot­niuk.

KyleMackay, Nic Briere, and Shane Janke all added helpers for Swift Cur­rent.

Satur­day the Ram­page tamed the vis­it­ing York­ton Bull­dogs in an 8-1 win led by a nat­u­ral hat trick from Pavlovic.

Matt Pierce, Bolot­niuk, andMackay each added a goal and an as­sist. Colton Mamer and Justin Smith added sin­gle goals. Briere added a pair of helpers, fol­lowed by sin­gles from Ryan Ship­ley, Janke, and Gra­ham.

Sun­day the Ram­page al­lowed three third pe­riod goals in a 6-4 loss to the vis­it­ing Este­van Big Dogs.

Mackay and ColtonWilde both net­ted sin­gles, while Pierce scored the Ram­page’s last two goals in the loss.

Gra­ham, Bolot­niuk, Janke, Bryce Molyneux, Mackay, and Ship­ley all recorded as­sists.

With the week­end split against York­ton and Este­van the Ram­page now have a 2-4-0 record with four games re­main­ing in their Prairie Gold Lacrosse League sched­ule.

Next action for the Ram­page will be June 5th when they host the Regina Riot (3-1-0) at 2 p.m. at the Credit Union iplex in their fi­nal reg­u­lar sea­son home game of the sea­son.
