Pee­Wee In­di­ans strug­gle on the road

The Swift Cur­rent AA Pee­Wee In­di­ans played a pair of dou­ble head­ers on the road over the week­end and man­aged only a sin­gle win.

The Pee­Wee In­di­ans dropped the first game to Este­van 14-13 but re­cov­ered for a 10-3 win later that day as Jadon Kozyn picked up the win on the mound.

The fol­low­ing day the In­di­ans were in Wey­burn where they dropped 5-1 and 16-5 losses.

At the plate Reid Fritzke had a solid week­end with six hits in­clud­ing one home run.

Darby Crozier also added six hits, fol­lowed by Kozyn with four.

Daw­son Tan­gen and Jor­dan Braun both added three hits apiece.

Af­ter six games the Pee­Wee In­di­ans sit in fifth spot in the Regina AAA Midget Base­ball League with a 2-40 record and a .333 winning per­cent­age.

This week­end the Pee- Wee In­di­ans will be in Regina for a pair of dou­ble head­ers on Satur­day in­clud­ing a pair of games against the Regina White Sox (4-2-0) and sin­gle meet­ings with the Regina Pac­ers (3-0-0) and York­ton (1-5-0).
