PeeWee Indians struggle on the road
The Swift Current AA PeeWee Indians played a pair of double headers on the road over the weekend and managed only a single win.
The PeeWee Indians dropped the first game to Estevan 14-13 but recovered for a 10-3 win later that day as Jadon Kozyn picked up the win on the mound.
The following day the Indians were in Weyburn where they dropped 5-1 and 16-5 losses.
At the plate Reid Fritzke had a solid weekend with six hits including one home run.
Darby Crozier also added six hits, followed by Kozyn with four.
Dawson Tangen and Jordan Braun both added three hits apiece.
After six games the PeeWee Indians sit in fifth spot in the Regina AAA Midget Baseball League with a 2-40 record and a .333 winning percentage.
This weekend the Pee- Wee Indians will be in Regina for a pair of double headers on Saturday including a pair of games against the Regina White Sox (4-2-0) and single meetings with the Regina Pacers (3-0-0) and Yorkton (1-5-0).
