Novem­ber sets records for many man­u­fac­tur­ers

Novem­ber was very good for most man­u­fac­tur­ers. Sev­eral even recorded the high­est num­ber of sales in their his­tory last month.

Over­all, there were 133,860 new ve­hi­cles reg­is­tered in Novem­ber which rep­re­sents an in­crease of 6.5 per cent com­pared to last year. BMW, Land Rover, Jaguar, In­finiti, Nis­san and Subaru are among the man­u­fac­tur­ers that would have loved to see Novem­ber con­tinue. For Subaru and Mazda, Novem­ber set a new record in terms new car sales. With 3327 sales and a 22 per cent in­crease com­pared to the month of Novem­ber 2012, Subaru also set a new record for the num­ber of an­nual new car sales ( for the man­u­fac­turer), and there is still one month left in 2013. Mazda in turn sold 5,911 cars last month, which rep­re­sents an in­crease of 13.2 per cent.

Nis­san is the big win­ner in terms of per­cent­age in­crease in sales among Ja­panese man­u­fac­tur­ers with an in­crease of 19.9 per cent. On the other hand, the largest num­ber of cars sold within this group goes to Toy­ota with 14,263 reg­is­tered ve­hi­cles, 7.8 per cent more than last year.
