Colts place sec­ond on home court

The Swift Cur­rent Cur­rent Comp. Colts placed sec­ond at their six­team home tour­na­ment with two wins and one loss over the weekend.

The Colts opened the tour­na­ment Fri­day with a de­ci­sive 104-55 win over the Shau­navon Shad­ows.

They faced a strong Wey­burn team in their next game and suf­fered a 79-59 loss.

The Colts led 21-14 af­ter one quar­ter but only scored three points in the sec­ond quar­ter to trail 3124 at half­time.

They picked it up in the third quar­ter to trail 53-49 but Wey­burn outscored them 26-10 in the fourth to seal the win.

The Colts took on Moose Jaw Vanier in their fi­nal game and came out vic­to­ri­ous to place sec­ond be­hind Wey­burn.

The Colts evened their sea­son record at six wins and six losses with their sec­ond run­ner-up fin­ish this sea­son in four tour­na­ment out­ings.

The Colts will be off this weekend for ex­ams fol­lowed by a weekend tour­na­ment in York­ton.
