Cypress Health Region adds flu clinics across the Southwest
With additional stocks of vaccine arriving last week, the Cypress Health Region has confirmed a series of inf luenza clinics across the Southwest.
Starting this past Monday, there will be a sixday- a- week f lu clinic operating at the Swift Current Mall, and additional clinics are scheduled in Shaunavon, Maple Creek and Leader.
Last Friday, Saskatchewan Health officials updated their inf luenza statistical totals, reporting 16 confirmed seats in the province as a result of influenza along with over 1,100 confirmed lab cases. A total of 57 patients have been admitted to intensive care as a result of influenza.
All newly announced clinics are being conducted on a drop in basis, with no appointments necessary to receive inf luenza immunizations.
Both nasal spray and injectable vaccine will be available at these clinics.

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays - 1 p. m. to 8 p.m., Swift Current Mall.
Saturdays - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Swift Current Mall. SHAUNAVON Saturday, February 1 - 10 a. m. to 4 p. m., Shaunavon Hospital ( Public Health). LEADER Tuesday, February 4 - 10 a. m. to 5 p. m., Leader Friendship Centre. MAPLE CREEK Wednesday, February 5 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Maple Creek Hospital.
