BEHIND THE SCENES:
with MARK EVANS, the Editor of Sport Diver
The ever crucial cover photo. The face of every magazine, it is there to represent the publication at its finest. Most magazines opt for a standard modelled photoshoot, but it’s never that easy for Sport Diver magazine. Imagine hunting for that picture-perfect frame under twenty meters of ocean, shooting elusive fast-moving sea creatures while in full scuba gear. Those are the kind of challenges that Editor, Mark Evans, faces to get the perfect cover photo shot. In this issue of Inside with Sport Diver, we talk to Mark about what goes into choosing a front cover image, and discover how shooting them can be a frustrating business.
