Oct. 12 Roast beef dinner: Organized by the Knights of Columbus of St. Francis de Sales parish, held at the parish hall starting at 4:30 p.m. Hall is fully accessible with elevator operator on duty. Cost is $10.
Oct. 13 Marian consecration: Held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Apple Hill at 9 a.m., in celebration of the Fatima apparitions and the annual day of prayer for children. Consecration follows mass, includes children’s choir and procession.
Apparition mass: Mass held to mark the 100th anniversary of the final apparition at Fatima and the miracle of the dancing sun, conducted in French and held at Nativity CoCathedral starting at 4 p.m.
The rosary: The Catholic Women’s League invites all to Nativity CoCathedral starting at 6:15 p.m. to pray a special rosary for families. Conducted primarily in English with some French.
Fatima film series: Final movie in the series, Finding Fatima, will be screened starting at 7 p.m. Rev. Kevin Maloney will speak about his experiences at Fatima prior to the screening, which will be followed by wine and cheese along with door prizes. Free event, though donations are appreciated.

Fall supper: Held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Martintown, 4866 County Road 20, with sittings at 4:30 and 6 p.m. Menu of oven-baked ham on the bone, seasoned meatballs, scalloped potatoes, whipped potatoes, salads, homemade rolls, butter, tea/ coffee and homemade pies. Anniversary: The congregation of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, South Lancaster, will celebrate its 230th anniversary at 11 a.m. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Jack Archibald, retired minister of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Ottawa. Special music will be offered by Mary and Evelyn Cumming.
