Oct. 12 Roast beef din­ner: Or­ga­nized by the Knights of Colum­bus of St. Fran­cis de Sales par­ish, held at the par­ish hall start­ing at 4:30 p.m. Hall is fully ac­ces­si­ble with el­e­va­tor op­er­a­tor on duty. Cost is $10.

Oct. 13 Mar­ian con­se­cra­tion: Held at St. An­thony’s Catholic Church in Ap­ple Hill at 9 a.m., in cel­e­bra­tion of the Fa­tima ap­pari­tions and the an­nual day of prayer for chil­dren. Con­se­cra­tion fol­lows mass, in­cludes chil­dren’s choir and pro­ces­sion.

Ap­pari­tion mass: Mass held to mark the 100th an­niver­sary of the fi­nal ap­pari­tion at Fa­tima and the miracle of the danc­ing sun, con­ducted in French and held at Na­tiv­ity CoCathe­dral start­ing at 4 p.m.

The rosary: The Catholic Women’s League in­vites all to Na­tiv­ity CoCathe­dral start­ing at 6:15 p.m. to pray a spe­cial rosary for fam­i­lies. Con­ducted pri­mar­ily in English with some French.

Fa­tima film se­ries: Fi­nal movie in the se­ries, Find­ing Fa­tima, will be screened start­ing at 7 p.m. Rev. Kevin Maloney will speak about his ex­pe­ri­ences at Fa­tima prior to the screen­ing, which will be fol­lowed by wine and cheese along with door prizes. Free event, though do­na­tions are ap­pre­ci­ated.

Oct. 14 Rosary rally: Held at the Grotto-Shrine of Our Lady of Fa­tima in Alexan­dria start­ing at 11 a.m. Info: John or Moira van Nooten, 613-5251530.

Fall sup­per: Held at St. An­drew’s Pres­by­te­rian Church in Mart­in­town, 4866 County Road 20, with sit­tings at 4:30 and 6 p.m. Menu of oven-baked ham on the bone, sea­soned meat­balls, scal­loped pota­toes, whipped pota­toes, sal­ads, home­made rolls, but­ter, tea/ cof­fee and home­made pies. Nee­dle crafters’ guild fall lun­cheon: Monthly meet­ing of the In­gle­side and Area Nee­dle Crafters’ Guild, held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ma­sonic Hall in In­gle­side, across from the li­brary. Cyr­i­aque Bella and the con­gre­ga­tion of Our Lady of An­gels Par­ish in Moose Creek, held at Roxbor­ough Com­mu­nity Hall on St. Poly­carp Street from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Menu of tur­key and stuff­ing, cran­ber­ries, ham, baked beans, pota­toes, rolls/ but­ter, veg­eta­bles, coleslaw, as­sorted pies, juice and cof­fee/tea. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for chil­dren six to 12, chil­dren un­der six free. Take-out avail­able.

An­niver­sary: The con­gre­ga­tion of St. An­drew’s Pres­by­te­rian Church, South Lan­caster, will cel­e­brate its 230th an­niver­sary at 11 a.m. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Jack Archibald, re­tired min­is­ter of St. Paul’s Pres­by­te­rian Church, Ot­tawa. Spe­cial mu­sic will be of­fered by Mary and Eve­lyn Cum­ming.
