PANCAKE DINNER: Held at Christ Church Seaway (Anglican), 2 Bethune in Long Sault, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Menu of home-baked beans, sausage, pancakes with real maple syrup, dessert, tea/coffee for $12 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, free for children under five.
PANCAKE DINNER: In honour of Shrove Tuesday, held at Knox-St. Paul’s United Church, 800 Twelfth
St. E., from 5 to 7 p.m. Costs $8 for adults, $5 for children under the age of 10.
VALENTINE’S TEA AND LUNCHEON: Organized by the ladies’ auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 297, held at the legion from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Menu of soup, sandwiches, desserts, coffee/tea for $6. Also includes bake, white elephant and book tables. SUPPORT AND SHARE NIGHT: Session organized by Bereaved Families of Ontario – Cornwall, held at its office at 216 Montreal Rd., from 7 to 9 p.m. Presentation followed by small group support, open to anyone struggling with the loss of a loved one. SPAGHETTI SUPPER: A fundraiser for Central Public School’s bicentennial year, with proceeds supporting yard improvements at the school. One sitting at 5 p.m., a second at 6 p.m., menu of spaghetti, salad, bun, drinks and ice cream for $7.

WINTER ACTIVITIES: Organized by the St. Mary’s Centre in Williamstown, where from 2:30 p.m. onwards there will be sleigh rides through the village, with a spaghetti supper scheduled from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
