Stanstead College honours academic achievers
Several Eastern Townships and Orleans County students were named to Stanstead College’s Headmaster’s List for achieving an overall average of 85% or higher on their December grades.
The grades include their term mark and grades from exams written prior to the December break.
Overall 30 of the 180 students enrolled this year were named to the Headmaster’s List.
Local students include (Grade 12) Nicolas Bauer of Ogden, Que., Gabrielle Fleming of Stanstead Township, Que., Michele Lessard of Magog Que.; (Grade 11) Robert Baillargeon of Stanstead, Que., Félix Larivée of Sherbrooke, Que.; (Grade 10) Chelsy Martin of Stanstead, Que.; (Grade 9) Amanda Eberhardt of Glover, Vt., Spencer Martin of Newport, Vt., Catherine Quirion of LacMegantic; (Grade 8) Malcolm Wood-Downey of Magog; and (Grade 7) Wyatt Kimball Hamby of Derby Line, Vt.
In addition, another 29 students were named to the Academic Honours List for achieving overall averages of between 80% and 84.9%.
Local students on the Honours List include (Grade 12) Samuel Garneau-Labrecque of Granby, Que., (Grade 10) Hailey Nadeau of Newport, Vt., (Grade 9) Sarah Lessard of Magog, Que., Abigale Vanluvender of West Charleston, Vt.; (Grade 8) Meghan Martin of Newport, Vt.; (Grade 7) Jonathan Archer, Lyanne Carruthers, both of Stanstead, Que., and David Wood-Downey of Magog, Que.
