Orleans County Citizen Advocacy (OCCA) invites any and all golfers & spectators to join us on Saturday, February 12 at 11 a.m. for an afternoon of fun on Lake Memphremagog near the Eastside Restaurant Newport, VT as we hold our 1st Annual “Golf on Ice” Challenge.
The golf event is a fund-raiser for OCCA, a nonprofit that matches non-paid community members with people that have a developmental disability in one-to-one relationships of friendship, advocacy and inclusion.
This will be a 27 par golf course: 9 holes all par 3. It will be a four person format; 1 club per person, no handicap. Each person will receive 1 free ball; additional balls will be sold for $5 each. The costs are $20 per person, or a hole sponsor is $100. The sponsor fee covers a team of four people and advertises the name on the scorecard as well as at the first tee. Local green fee prizes will be awarded to the top 4 teams.
