Helpers needed for Plaisirs d’Hiver day
Stanstead is holding its Plaisirs d’Hiver winter fun day on Saturday, February 12th this year, as usual at Beebe Memorial Park. Organizers are still finalizing many great activities and games, however, one thing is certain: they are looking for volunteers! “We really need volunteers to help with the sliding, keeping the kids in line,” mentioned Maryse Trepanier of the Stanstead Recreation Association who puts on the event every year. Volunteers for some of the other activities are also needed. Organizers are also hoping to find participants for a new game of giant foozball that they will be trying out.
The polar plunge is back and there will, once again, be cash prizes for originality. People can register for this ahead of time at firstname.lastname@example.org or on site the day of.
Anyone wishing to volunteer an hour or two of their time during this celebration of winter can call Maryse Trepanier at 819 876-7181.
