Final benefit card party
The third Card Party benefit Nathan Johann’s trip to Europe was held on Monday Jan.31, 2011. Cards were played at 9 tables. After a lot fun and laughter, scores were added up. Ladies high prize went to Janice Royea (5980), with Marion St-Onge (5880) claiming 2nd. Gents high was won by Archie St-Onge (5960) and Royce Wallace (5820) taking home 2nd prize.
10 of anything bid was won by Archie St-Onge. Skunk prize went to Betty Davis. The 9 of clubs bid went to Elvera Patterson.
Door prizes were claimed by Doris Davis, Leslie Bliss, Janice Begbie, Arthur Cheal, Joyce Ewart, Greta Nish, Jack Kimpton, Betty Davis, Andy Davis, Alan Bullock, Sue Nichols, Glenda Huff, Mac Juby, Debbie Smith, Esther Rolleston, Gordon Humphrey, Jean Martin, Bud Wing, Clarence Rolleston, Casey Vriensendorp, Barbara Wing, Bob Nish, Pearl Goodsell, Elvera Patterson, Meryl Nutbrown, Stan Royea, and Barbara Gosselin.
Special Prize winners were Alan Bullock, Betty Davis, Royce Wallace, Barbara Wing, Marion Cox, Doris Davis, Leslie Bliss, Sue Nichols, Debbie Smith and Glenda Huff.
The 2nd set of special prizes went to Sue Nichols, Bob Nish, Meryl Nutbrown, Esther Rolleston, Connie Smith, and Charlene Johann.
The over-all prizes for the three card parties went to Ladies High -Marion St-Onge (17280). Gents high to Gordon Humphrey (16840). The Skunk over-all was won by Pearl Goodsell for having 5 skunks for the three parties.
