This is the sixth Midwinter Laugh that the Georgeville Troupe has put on to give some light relief to the long winter. As before it takes the form of a dinner with entertainment in the Murray Memorial Hall using a small stage and limiting the numbers per performance to 60 seated in tables surrounding the stage. The programme includes songs, skits, jokes, stories, etc., and finishes up with a pantomime is Cinderella with twelve speaking parts, the two ugly sisters being played by men!

We have established a number of guidelines for these shows, a cast of all ages the youngest this year being six, a minimum of rehearsals and not much learning of lines. We keep the price of tickets as low as we can and any surplus goes to the Community Association of Georgeville.
