Toronto Hosts Pat Burns Tribute to Fund Stanstead Arena

Toronto’s Horse­shoe Tav­ern paid tribute to Pat Burns with a char­ity event held on Mon­day, March 7 th . The sold out con­cert and auc­tion was well at­tended by fans and celebri­ties alike. Min­gled amongst the hockey fans present were me­dia, NHL, and mu­sic per­son­al­i­ties. Toron­to­ni­ans were not only there to pay their re­spects to the Maple Leaf’s late coach, but also to en­joy live mu­sic, the auc­tion of hockey mem­o­ra­bilia, and to sup­port the Pat Burns Arena fundrais­ing cam­paign.

Pat Burns was well known for his great love of hockey, but those closer to him also knew of his other great loves; mo­tor­cy­cles and mu­sic. He was an avid gui­tar player and singer, of­ten per­form­ing pub­li­cally when out with friends.
