Toronto Hosts Pat Burns Tribute to Fund Stanstead Arena

Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern paid tribute to Pat Burns with a charity event held on Monday, March 7 th . The sold out concert and auction was well attended by fans and celebrities alike. Mingled amongst the hockey fans present were media, NHL, and music personalities. Torontonians were not only there to pay their respects to the Maple Leaf’s late coach, but also to enjoy live music, the auction of hockey memorabilia, and to support the Pat Burns Arena fundraising campaign.
Pat Burns was well known for his great love of hockey, but those closer to him also knew of his other great loves; motorcycles and music. He was an avid guitar player and singer, often performing publically when out with friends.
