Beaulne celebrates water

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

The Beaulne Museum of Coaticook is pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition “ The

Water Which Surrounds Us” at Château ArthurOsmore Norton Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m. Autour

de nous, a group of professional artists working in different disciplines of visual arts and crafts, will present more than fifty unique and original works on the theme of water. This Expo aims to be both a bit of folly and a creative vision, which will not leave anyone indifferent. It will continue until May 1.

At the crossroads of ideas and insights, where all mediums and techniques are enriched, the artists of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region offer works that vivify the imagination and collective memory. Water, a wealth and source of life, flows, transforms, and transcends within a diversified path. At times painting, at times sculpture, or poetry, it flows in countless forms with its reflections, its undulations, and its movements. Water is at once life, music and movement, an entity that is infinitely transformed.

This unfolding exhibition has already fascinated many viewers who visited the Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges in 2007, the Y.L. Bombardier Cultural Centre of Valcourt in 2008, the Carrefour PaulMédéric of Baie-Saint-Paul, and the Wilson Pavilion of Coteau-du-Lac in 2010. Like a pebble cast into water, the concentric circles of solidarity and creative exchanges touch many more people now than it was ever imagined.
