Expo-Sciences this weekend
Every year, many Estrie students take part in Expo-Sciences Hydro-Quebec, a scientific competition during which they present projects that they are passionate about. On the 18th, 19th and 20th of March, the public is invited to come and visit the Centre culturel of the Université de Sherbrooke to take a trip into the world of science – you won’t be disappointed!
Julie Levesque and Mylene Ouellet are two students who are interested in the effects of music on living things. Did you know that music can influence your brain and that it can have a positive effect on illnesses such as autism, Parkinson’s and migraines? Music can also, in certain circumstances, facilitate learning or decrease pain. A certain kind of music can also kill plants and cook an egg…
To learn more about the science project of Julie and Mylene, and to see many other fascinating projects, everyone is invited to attend this year’s competition.
