Stanstead Journal - - FRONT PAGE - Hélène Hamel Stanstead

Comingup this Friday and Saturday at the old arena of Stanstead College, is a series of events “Good-bye to the ‘ol barn.” Many of us have very fond memories of the arena and we need to be sure to say good bye to our beloved place.

This is the last month the arena will be open….the last one forever. On Friday the 8th. A great show, CABIN FEVER. Rated 16+.

It’s a true vaudeville type act with wrestling-burlesque-rock ‘n roll combination. The event is just like those we used to have at the old arena back in the 1950’s. Tickets are on sale for 20$ each or if you

buy 4 you’ll get the 5th ticket for free. Tickets can be purchased from me, Bev and Nellie Goodsell, at the Arena, Ziv and others. Ziv will be at IGA this week selling tickets.

The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and we’ll start the show after 8 p.m. There will be a Cash bar.

Please buy a ticket and get your friends to come out and have a good time. Then Saturday, April 9th, its family day.
