Stanstead Journal - - FORUM - Waterville

OnMar. 23 several members, family, and friends of Union Enc.#3 of Waterville enjoyed a fun night of playing 10cnt Bingo cards and sugar-on snow at the OF Hall in Waterville. Our caller was none other than our DGM and Scribe Thomas Barton-thanks Tom. Several hands were played as G.Marshal Arnold MacKeage cooked the syrup to perfection-thank you Arnold!! Visitors from Knowlton-Lynn and Roger Jones and Dorothy Premont from Knowlton had a great time and Lynn had brought some of her delicious fudge for all to enjoy-and we did. Celine and Noel Roy from Coaticook came along with Dorothy and JP Houle. Guests also came from Richmond and we welcomed them. Mike Clifford from Waterloo brought his daughter and his cutest grandchild to enjoy. What an attraction she was! There was a half/half won by Gramma Catchpaw, who was brought along by Diane and Greg Barton. Some door prizes were won by lucky members and guests. Chief Matriarch Gertrude Ketcham thanked everyone for coming and wished all a safe trip home. We send regards to Barbara Smith who has gone to Vancouver to visit her mom who is not doing well-safe trips Barbara.

Everyone, young and old, enjoyed the sugar on snow at the Bingo evening. Things look like they got sticky but it is oh so yummy!
