Bridges getting inspected
Manylocal bridges are getting inspected between April 26th and May 2nd. Yesterday, the bridges in Waterville over the Coaticook River on Principale Street and in Hatley Township on route 108 over the Massawippi River were inspected. Today, the bridges on the 206 over the Pont Rouge creek in Coaticook, on Baldwin over the Pratt Creek in Coaticook and on Chemin Katevale in Ste-Catherine de Hatley will be inspected. On the 28th, the bridges on autoroute 10, east and west, that cross over the North Road in Austin will be inspected. On the 29th, the bridge on route 251 that crosses the Salmon River in Clifton gets inspected. On May 2nd, the bridges on route 147 over the Coaticook River in Dixville and on Chemin des Pelerins over Dorman creek in Sherbrooke will get inspected.
During the inspections, one lane out of two will be closed and traffic will alternate except in the case of autoroute 10 where the traffic will use the other lane. The work will be done between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
