Fashion show to benefit Enfant Soleil
Modelingclothes for a cause, Stanstead College students and faculty will participate in a fashion show Thursday, May 12 at 8:30 p.m. to benefit Opération Enfant Soleil.
The public is invited to attend this event, which will take place in LeBaron Hall on the Stanstead College campus. Admission is $2 with donations more than welcome.
The show will feature men’s designs by Kan-Ann and women’s wear by 172 Grams among others. All clothing lines will also be on sale at the event, with profits supporting Enfant Soleil.
The fashion show is the brainchild of student Émilie Gamache, a Grade 11 student from Montreal, who is organizing the event as a credit project for her Français Langue Maternelle class.
“My father operates a fashion clothing store and I’ve always been passionate about fashion myself,” she explains. “And Enfant Soleil is a very good cause that supports sick children and hospitals across Quebec.”
Since 1988 Opération Enfant Soleil has generated more than $140 million for its causes. For more information, visit www.operationenfantsoleil.ca.
