SQ gives $2000 to teens

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS BRIEFS -

The community foundation of the Sureté du Québec recently donated $2000 for several local youth projects that revolve around prevention. The grant allowed for the creation of several promotional products regarding prevention for high school students in the Memphremagog MRC at both public and private schools.

As in past years, the sub-committee of 12 to 17 year-olds organized three weeks of prevention activities aimed at cyber intimidation. During that time, among other activities, students received information about resources that help fight cyber intimidation and posters were created.
