Old friends reunited and new friends made
OnMay 13-14 the Grand Master Ernestine Whipple and Grand Marshal Arnold MacKeage of the Grand Lodge of Que., visited the Grand Lodge Sessions at beautiful Lake Morey Inn in Fairlee Vermont. Grand Master, VT., William Wulff, decorated Officer of many Branches of the Order conducted a fine meeting and all guests were warmly welcomed. There was a delicious Banquet Friday evening, attended by dignitaries from RI; Mass.; CT.; NH. and NY. Therefore there was lots of greetings exchanged - meeting some members for the first time and others long-time friends-great hospitality!
The Rebekah Assembly was very well represented with the President Joy Royea of Knowlton along with some of her officers. Quebecers Ed and Joyce Copping accompanied Thomas Barton, the Deputy Grand Master from Sherbrooke to the meeting, Ed being the chauffeur.
The ceremonies were impressive and fellowship evident everywhere. The grounds are exquisite and the view of the lake superb.
We hope to see many of the same group at Que. Sessions May 27-28 at Le Castel, Granby.
