in the front door of Stu­dio Ge­orgeville be­tween June 28 and July 10, and you’ll feel as if you’ve trav­elled to an­other planet. In this new ex­hibit, en­ti­tled Mu­ta­tions, On­tario artist Su­san Va­lyi’s ec­cen­tric col­lec­tion of an­i­mal/ hu­man sculp­tures—built from an equally ec­cen­tric com­pos­ite of found ma­te­ri­als—will in­trigue and amuse adult and young view­ers. The gallery will also fea­ture the spare, warmly coloured paint­ings of Mon­trealer Cather­ine Huët-Meas­roch, whose theme cen­tres on the search for the elu­sive, re­bel­lious fe­male spirit. The vernissage for the Va­lyi and Huet-Meas­roch ex­hi­bi­tion will be held on Satur­day, July 2, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Stu­dio Ge­orgeville, 20 Carré Copp, in the heart of the vil­lage of Ge­orgeville.
