Jardin-des-frontieres celebrates graduates
Last Friday evening, under the theme of school perseverance, the Stanstead community honoured the grade six graduating students of the Jardin-des Frontieres school. A group of parents, headed by Christine Allard and Marika Parenteau, were able to mobilize nineteen local businesses from the region to sponsor the well-attended event. “It was evident that school perseverance is an important value for the Stanstead community,” commented the principal of the school, Julie Dubois.
The students were all proud to receive a certificate from their teacher, Manon Drouin. Congratulations to Brandy Buzzell, Melina Raymond, Mylane Beaudin and Sophie Brunnelle-Newman who all received a Mayor of Stanstead bursury from councillor Guy Ouellet to highlight their particular efforts and perseverance. The evening ended with outdoor games and fireworks.
“Bravo to all the graduates; we’re very proud of you! You are fine examples for all of our students,” added Ms. Dubois.
