Burns left out
Noinduction in the Hockey Hall of Fame for Pat Burns this year.
Another reason not to visit Toronto this summer, or ever, was provided yesterday when the Hockey Hall of Fame once again disregarded Pat Burns as one of its member. They couldn’t do it last year when he was still alive and, once again, snubbed him this year and we can presume forever.
Mr. Burns’ legacy was honoured elsewhere yesterday as the Coalition Priorité Cancer au Québec announced the jury for the Pat Burns Award, announced first in April. It will honour someone who cared for a cancer victim and it will be presided over by Jason Burns, son of the famed hockey coach.
