Big crowd for Fete in Fitch Bay

Fitch

Bay held its annual St. Jean Baptiste Day celebration last Friday and Saturday at Parc Forand. Hundreds attended the event which featured inflatable games, live music, pontoon tours of the bay, the traditional bonfire and fireworks. A family picnic and flea market took place on the Saturday.

Organizers wish to thank everyone who participated: volunteers, sponsors, those who took care of the games and, above all, the people of Fitch Bay, Ogden, Stanstead, Magog, Coaticook, Sherbrooke and even France who braved the unpredictable weather. Follow the community calendar for the next big event: a corn roast. The Fete Nationale at Parc Forand was organized by Les Amis de Fitch Bay.
