Jen­nifer Young will be back soon Ayer’s Cliff Farmer’s Mar­ket to host fundraiser

Aspe­cialevent has been or­ga­nized for this Satur­day’s Farmer’s Mar­ket in Ayer’s Cliff to raise funds for Len­noxville’s Cor­ner­stone Food Bank. A Fresh Food Fest will fea­ture cook­ing demon­stra­tions with In­te­gra­tive Health Coach Elaine Cooper who lives in Mon­treal but orig­i­nated from Ayer’s Cliff. Her menu will in­clude a sum­mer­time salad with cu­cum­ber mint dress­ing, “Oh so smoothie” and a “very berry” dessert. Her recipes will be avail­able, the food may be sam­pled and there will be a propane BBQ and gift cer­tifi­cates to be won.

Be­sides learn­ing some new recipes and cook­ing tech­niques, vis­i­tors to the mar­ket this Satur­day can en­joy the live mu­sic of David Va­chon and Co. and buy lo­cal, fresh, or­ganic pro­duce from about 25 ven­dors. Some of the items avail­able in­clude veg­eta­bles, meat, fish, cheese, baked goods, berries, fair trade cof­fee, herbs, jew­elry, pot­tery and more!

The Ayer’s Cliff Farmer’s Mar­ket is lo­cated on the Ayer’s Cliff fair­grounds and runs ev­ery Satur­day, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, un­til Thanks­giv­ing Week­end, ex­cept the week­end of the Fair.
