Jennifer Young will be back soon Ayer’s Cliff Farmer’s Market to host fundraiser
Aspecialevent has been organized for this Saturday’s Farmer’s Market in Ayer’s Cliff to raise funds for Lennoxville’s Cornerstone Food Bank. A Fresh Food Fest will feature cooking demonstrations with Integrative Health Coach Elaine Cooper who lives in Montreal but originated from Ayer’s Cliff. Her menu will include a summertime salad with cucumber mint dressing, “Oh so smoothie” and a “very berry” dessert. Her recipes will be available, the food may be sampled and there will be a propane BBQ and gift certificates to be won.
Besides learning some new recipes and cooking techniques, visitors to the market this Saturday can enjoy the live music of David Vachon and Co. and buy local, fresh, organic produce from about 25 vendors. Some of the items available include vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, baked goods, berries, fair trade coffee, herbs, jewelry, pottery and more!
The Ayer’s Cliff Farmer’s Market is located on the Ayer’s Cliff fairgrounds and runs every Saturday, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, until Thanksgiving Weekend, except the weekend of the Fair.
Elaine Cooper, a former resident of Ayer’s Cliff, will give a fresh food cooking demonstration at the Ayer’s Cliff Farmer’s Market this Saturday.
