Learn sustainable eat­ing at Haskell

The Haskell Free Li­brary is of­fer­ing a Menu for the Fu­ture dis­cus­sion group start­ing Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 8th from 2:00-3:30 pm. The group will meet weekly for 6 ses­sions. Each ses­sion has about 12 pages of read­ings from the Menu for the Fu­ture dis­cus­sion guide/an­thol­ogy. Dis­cus­sion top­ics in­clude: in­dus­trial agri­cul­ture, or­gan­ics, pro­cessed food, Fair Trade, food and health, and eat­ing sus­tain­ably and lo­cally. A group of 8-12 peo­ple will be fa­cil­i­tated by li­brar­ian Nancy Rumery on Oc­to­ber 8th. Group mem­bers will take turns lead­ing the other five ses­sions.
