QNEK puts on fundraiser for storm vic­tims

QNEK Pro­duc­tions, the In­ter­na­tional The­atre Com­pany in Res­i­dence at the Haskell Opera House, will ded­i­cate all pro­ceeds of the Thurs­day, Sept 15, 7:30 p.m. per­for­mance of their sig­na­ture show, Dan Gog­gin’s renowned mu­si­cal “Nun­sense”, to Ben­e­fit the Ver­mont Vic­tims of Hur­ri­cane Irene. We hope you will sup­port the cause.

So many of our fel­low Ver­mon­ters have been dev­as­tated by this storm that the “Lit­tle Sis­ters of Hobo­ken” wanted to help. If you can­not at­tend Thurs­day evening, sub­se­quent per­for­mances will run Septem­ber 16, 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Septem­ber 18, mati­nee at 2:00 (audio de­scribed by the VT Coun­cil for the Blind). The show stars Anita Morin as Sis­ter Robert Ann; Sally Ri­vard as Sis­ter Mary Am­ne­sia; Emily May as Sis­ter Hu­bert; Ruth-ann Fletcher as Sis­ter Mary Leo; and Lynn Leimer as the ir­rev­er­ent Rev­erend Mother. Jan­ice Gluck, Mu­si­cal Di­rec­tor, plays key­board for the show, ac­com­pa­nied by Sean Mcal­lis­ter on the drums. This is the 25th An­niver­sary of Nun­sense na­tion­wide and for those of you who have never seen Nun­sense or even if it’s your 25th time see­ing Nun­sense, you will not be dis­ap­pointed with the ri­otous romp through THE Mu­si­cal of hu­mor­ous mu­si­cals.
