MP Rousseau continues tour of riding

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS - Victoria Vanier

For more than two months, Compton-Stanstead MP Jean Rousseau has been travelling around the riding, accepting invitations and initiating meetings with elected officials and others. However, since the election, circumstances such as the mini session of parliament and the tragic and unexpected death of NDP leader Jack Layton have played havoc with Mr. Rousseau’s schedule, necessitating the cancellation of some appointments. In the next few months, Mr. Rousseau will attempt to reschedule those appointments.

With the title of parliamentary assistant of the Official Opposition Critic on Agriculture, Mr. Rousseau would also like to meet as many agricultural producers as possible in the coming months.

NDP MP Jean Rousseau invites the public to visit the riding office at 5142 Bourque Avenue, in the Rock Forest sector or to telephone his administrative assistant, Valerie Laliberté, at 819 347-2598 or his community relations assistant, Alain Robert, at 819 347-1420.
