Also sincere thanks was given to Ernest for his leadership at these gatherings and also for the many hours he and his wife, Ruby spend at home, contacting David Thayer and others by email , regular mail or phone prior to the reunion date. We are very fortunate to have them carrying on in this way! The youngest present was Kyle Jasper who is 11 months old. Alice (Thayer) Whitcher was the oldest woman present and Clarence Rolleston the oldest man. Before the adjournment of the business meeting, Ernest thanked everyone for making the reunion such a great success. The donation towards mailing expenses etc was collected, followed by the drawings for door prizes. The 2012 reunion will be at Fairmount Park so we hope to see you all and bring others, too!! With the “see you next year!” parting sentence, the group left for their homes.
