“Faire son Cinema” returns to Coaticook
Initiated by Course Estrie and dedicated to young high school dropouts between the ages of 16 and 30, the Faire son Cinema project will be returning to the Coaticook MRC for a second edition which will take place between November 14th, 2011, and April 27th, 2012.
Lasting twenty-four weeks, thirty hours per week, the project will offer eight unemployed young people the exceptional opportunity to realize their human potential in a creative environment that favours self-empowerment. Faire son Cinema allows the participants to develop competencies and learn about film-making. Furthermore, an experience organizing an event will help them to either return to studies or find a job. The young participants will receive a weekly allowance equal to a minimum wage salary during the entire project.
Interested candidates must fill out a form at the Carrefour jeunesse emploi of the Coaticook MRC or at the Commission scolaire des Hauts-cantons adult education centre before November 4th, 2011. For more information contact Denise Provencher at 819 3463324 or at email@example.com.. The project is possible thanks to the participation of the Government of Canada, the Centre
d’education des adultes de la Commission scolaire des Hauts-cantons and the Carrefour jeunesse emploi de la MRC de Coaticook. This second edition is funded by the Caisse Populaire des Verts-sommets de l’estrie.
