Cle­ment Mo­liner-Roy, from Ste. Cather­ine-deHat­ley, is the pres­i­dent of the Stu­dent Coun­cil, elected at the end of last year de­spite the fact that it was his first year at Galt. “I was com­ing from an­other school and I saw what worked there so I thought it would be re­ally fun to make a change at this school and have fun at the same time with the peo­ple here,” com­mented Cle­ment about why he wanted to join the Stu­dent Coun­cil. “I joined the Coun­cil be­cause of the school’s Win­ter Car­ni­val. It’s what I liked the most about school so I wanted to work on that this year,” said fifth year Galt stu­dent Michael Rouil­lard, from Can­ton Hat­ley. “It’s nice to be on the Coun­cil be­cause you get to meet new peo­ple,” added Patricia Ga­mache, a level 4 stu­dent from Sher­brooke.
