Creating art is good for the soul!
Anewinitiative of Townshippers’ Association’s With Respect to Our Elders project, the Healing Benefits of Art, Music and Laughter: A Celebration of Community is coming to Centennial Theatre in Lennoxville on Sunday, November 13. The afternoon event will include an interactive multi-media show, workshops and a special reception for participants that will include minipresentations and a community creativity and resource exchange. The show will begin at 1:30 p.m. and activities will continue until 4:30 p.m.
The Healing Benefits of Art, Music and Laughter is a unique event that marks the culmination of three years’ worth of intergenerational music festivals and art workshops, such as those which have taken place in communities such as Richmond, Stanstead, Bedford, Stanbridge-east, Lac Brome, Sherbrooke and Magog.
