New administrators on Hospital Board
On November 1st, the CSSS Memphremagog held an election for two positions on its Board of Directors. Two hundred citizens voted at polling stations in Magog, Stanstead or Mansonville, electing Marcel St-onge, at right, with 127 votes and Pierre Belanger, at left, with 112 votes. Unsuccessful in their bids for seats were John Haberi, who received 93 votes, and Dan Paul Soroceanu who received 40 votes.
Mr. St-onge is a Human Resources manager and has worked as a volunteer for several years with the Centre d’arts Orford and as a municipal councillor of South Stukely. Mr. Belanger is a consultant in Human Resources and has sat on the Board of Directors of the Maison regionale de l’industrie and of the Cegep de Sherbrooke.
The eighteen members of the new Board of Directors will begin meeting in February, 2012, for a mandate of four years.
