New ad­min­is­tra­tors on Hos­pi­tal Board

On Novem­ber 1st, the CSSS Mem­phrem­a­gog held an elec­tion for two po­si­tions on its Board of Di­rec­tors. Two hun­dred cit­i­zens voted at polling sta­tions in Ma­gog, Stanstead or Man­sonville, elect­ing Mar­cel St-onge, at right, with 127 votes and Pierre Be­langer, at left, with 112 votes. Un­suc­cess­ful in their bids for seats were John Haberi, who re­ceived 93 votes, and Dan Paul Soro­ceanu who re­ceived 40 votes.

Mr. St-onge is a Hu­man Re­sources man­ager and has worked as a vol­un­teer for sev­eral years with the Cen­tre d’arts Or­ford and as a mu­nic­i­pal coun­cil­lor of South Stukely. Mr. Be­langer is a con­sul­tant in Hu­man Re­sources and has sat on the Board of Di­rec­tors of the Mai­son re­gionale de l’in­dus­trie and of the Cegep de Sher­brooke.

The eigh­teen mem­bers of the new Board of Di­rec­tors will be­gin meet­ing in Fe­bru­ary, 2012, for a man­date of four years.
