Memphremagog MRC’S CLD recently gave a grant of $28,485 to the Cooperative de solidarité de services a domicile Memphremagog (CSSDM). The
money came from the Fonds de développement et de consolidation des entreprises d’economie sociale.
The money will go towards the $286,000 project of the CSSDM to acquire the building where they are presently located as well as carry out work to better adapt the locale to their needs and those of their growing clientele.
The mission of the CSSDM is to offer home services to the entire population of the Memphremagog MRC. Those services include light housekeeping, respite for caregivers, accompaniment on errands, help with daily tasks, preparation and help with meals, big housecleaning jobs and interior and exterior maintenance jobs. The CSSDM has almost one hundred employees and about 1500 active members.
