CAB step closer to new kitchen

Yes­ter­day, the Mem­phrem­a­gog MRC an­nounced the four projects that would re­ceive fi­nanc­ing from the Pacte Ru­rale pro­gram, and the CAB RH Rediker’s project to up­grade their kitchen was one of them, re­ceiv­ing $20,000. The kitchen up­grade is needed to meet the grow­ing de­mands, es­pe­cially the re­quests for Meals on Wheels, of the rapidly ag­ing pop­u­la­tion on their ter­ri­tory.

Also re­ceiv­ing money from the pro­gram are: $25,000 for the mu­nic­i­pal­i­ties of Ste-cather­ine de Hat­ley, North Hat­ley, Hat­ley Town­ship, Hat­ley, Ayer’s Cliff, Stanstead Town­ship and Og­den for their par­tic­i­pa­tion in the Res­sourcerie des fron­tieres project; $7000 for the Stu­dio Georgeville for their project to in­crease their num­ber of mem­ber artists; and $15,000 for Bolton East to hire an agent to de­velop her­itage projects.
