The East­ern Town­ships Cana­dian Club/ Club Cana­dien des Can­tons de l’est in­vites mem­bers (men and women) and the pub­lic to at­tend the next pre­sen­ta­tion with Eric Ak­bar Manol­son and Guy­laine Gre­goire on Tues., Dec. 6 at 6:30 PM at Hô­tel Le Prési­dent in Sher­brooke.

Eric Ak­bar Manol­son is well known in the re­gion as co­or­di­na­tor of Town­ship­pers’ As­so­ci­a­tion’s With Re­spect

to Our El­ders project. Guy­laine Gre­goire was born in Sher­booke and is pro­fes­sor of vi­olin per­for­mance and cham­ber mu­sic at the Con­ser­va­toire de musique du Québec à

Sague­nay, and the founderdi­rec­tor of Les Por­teurs de musique.

Eric Manol­son on pi­ano and Guy­laine Gre­goire on vi­olin to­gether rep­re­sent over 70 years of mu­si­cal ex­pe­ri­ence. Both have been in­volved in bring­ing mu­sic to peo­ple with spe­cial needs in hos­pi­tals, heal­ing cen­ters and in learn­ing en­vi­ron­ments.

Guy­laine and Eric will be per­form­ing mu­sic from classical to jazz, from folk­lorique to coun­try, and of course, hol­i­day mu­sic. There

will be lots of au­di­ence par­tic­i­pa­tion and a won­der­ful time is guar­an­teed for all! Eric’s award­ing-win­ning CD en­ti­tled Heal­ing Pi­ano: The Ara­maic Prayer, will be avail­able for sale.
