Coat­i­cook taxi driver loses per­mit

On­De­cem­ber 22nd, 2011, the Com­mis­sion des trans­ports du Que­bec sus­pended the li­cense of a Coat­i­cook taxi driver who had been op­er­at­ing in the area for sev­eral years. Kevin Lynch’s taxi per­mit was sus­pended be­cause he was found guilty of five crim­i­nal acts, all re­lated to the traf­fick­ing and pos­ses­sion of il­le­gal drugs, while op­er­at­ing his taxi ser­vice. The said per­mit au­tho­rized taxi ser­vice in the Coat­i­cook area.

The Com­mis­sion has trans­ferred the per­mit to the Caisse Pop­u­laire des Verts -Som­mets de l’es­trie. The per­mit must be trans­ferred to a third party within ninety days of the Com­mis­sion’s de­ci­sion.
