Coaticook taxi driver loses permit
OnDecember 22nd, 2011, the Commission des transports du Quebec suspended the license of a Coaticook taxi driver who had been operating in the area for several years. Kevin Lynch’s taxi permit was suspended because he was found guilty of five criminal acts, all related to the trafficking and possession of illegal drugs, while operating his taxi service. The said permit authorized taxi service in the Coaticook area.
The Commission has transferred the permit to the Caisse Populaire des Verts -Sommets de l’estrie. The permit must be transferred to a third party within ninety days of the Commission’s decision.
