Doctors and other medical professionals working at North Country Hospital come from all around the United States, and some from several different countries. There are also some homegrown medical professionals, including ones who hail from Orleans County. Two of the newest medical professionals hired at North Country are graduates of North Country Union High School in Newport. Megan Batchelder, who joined Community Medical Associates (CMA) in Newport in October, graduated from the high school in 1998, while Brent Delabruere, who graduated from there in 2002, joined the hospital pharmacy team in July.

“It’s great to not only welcome Dr. Batchelder and Mr. Delabruere to North Country Hospital, but I’m also pleased to welcome them home,” Claudio Fort said. “Their education, training, and experience, will prove beneficial to the hospital and patients it serves.” Claudio is the President and CEO.
