Galt’s Ban­tam boys hockey team played Mont Ste-anne at the end of Jan­uary in a game that fin­ished with a tie score of 7 to 7. Galt’s scor­ers were An­thony Gos­selin with 4 goals, Hunter Haskell with one goal and 3 as­sists, and sin­gle goals to Loic Des­fos­ses and Jor­dan Keefe. Bas­ket­ball

Galt’s Se­nior Boys bas­ket­ball team played Bishop’s Col­lege School, beat­ing them 51 to 34. Scor­ers for Galt were Sean Lum­ley with 18 points, Owen Mac­don­ald with 13 and Ryan Mar­rotte with 10. The Se­nior boys also beat Trois Rivieres with the score of 63 to 56. Ryan Mar­rotte had 19 points, James Mur­ray and Sean Lum­ley scored 11 each. La Ruche high school beat the se­nior boys 87 to 57. Owen Mac­don­ald and Sean Lum­ley scored 13 points each. The Se­nior boys beat Stanstead Col­lege 86 to 42. Galt’s top scor­ers were Ryan Mar­rotte and Owen Mac­don­ald who led with 19 points each. Christopher Mur­phy nailed 12 and James Mur­ray and Sean Lum­ley scored 11 each.

The Ju­nior boys bas­ket­ball team beat Louis St Lau­rent 39 to 11. Sean Gid­dings led the Galt Pipers with 12 points. BCS beat the ju­nior boys 46 to 37. Loic Lavallee led the Galt Pipers with 9 points. Vin­cent Comeau scored 8.

The Ban­tam girls Galt bas­ket­ball team beat Rich­mond 21 to 7. Bri­anna Kent and Lau­rie Flynn scored 6 points each. The Ban­tam girls Pipers beat Col­lege Sacre-coeur 55 to 12. Kas­san­dra Nay­lor led Galt with 10 points.

Galt’s ju­nior girls team lost to Rich­mond 32 to 28. Ash­ley Wright led Galt with 10 points. Galt’s Se­nior girls team beat Stanstead Col­lege 44 to 26. Ma­rina Rousseau scored 16 points and Cyn­thia Dupont scored 14 points, both for Galt.
