Quad trails shot down by thieves
Season’s over for the four wheelers as some farmers have requested that the trails, which go through their properties, be closed for the remainder of the year. Thieves, using the trails, have stolen sugaring equipment, valued at over $1,000, going so far as to replace the bolts and nuts of the gate that they had opened to do their deed.
Obviously, the volunteers who give countless hours and pay their own expenses to maintain the trail are mad and are asking anyone who has information on this to call the police. A prompt resolution of the matter would go a long way in insuring that further seasons of motoring by quads will be possible.
