Canada Games mascot coming to town
Themascot of the 2013 Canada Games, a ruby-throated hummingbird, will be visiting local schools next Monday, April 2nd. The aim of the visits are to raise awareness about the coming games but also to find a name for the mascot. Young people under 18 years of age have until April 22nd to think up a name for the ‘flighty fellow’.
The schools being visited are Jardin des Frontieres in Stanstead, St. Barthelemy in Ayer’s Cliff, Dominique Savio in Ste-catherine de Hatley, and La Ruche high school in Magog.
