singing such varied styles of music as North American, African-latino and music from the Antilles Islands. The musical dance group consists of children singing and dancing to hip-hop style gospel music, which is geared toward the more young at heart. The music is in both French and English, stressing the desire to remove all barriers, linguistic and ethnic, so that everyone can feel welcome to celebrate Easter together. Anku explained that he ‘believes this is how Jesus intended us to be, and how His love for us is demonstrated’.

The concert will last an hour and a half and will be followed by refreshments, giving guests the opportunity to socialize with one another. Anku’s intention for this concert is to offer ‘une fête’, claiming ‘there is already too much sadness in the world so it is time to celebrate love and happiness with others.’ In speaking with the Swiss-born Anku, it was evident he knew something about joy, as he seemed to laugh throughout the conversation and seemed a very happy fellow. He explained his reason for moving to Canada was a ‘calling in his heart’, and expressed a great deal of satisfaction in the work that he does and with the choices he has made. He also expressed his hope that everyone is aware of the invitation and will feel welcome to attend, and asked that we extend his blessings and wishes for a happy Easter to all.
