Mayor’s head for sale
Vicki May Hamm, the mayor of Magog and the honorary president of the Defi tetes rasees, along with
Jade Proteau, a member of Leucan and the spokesperson for the event, will join the huge family of the Defi tetes rasees of the region. The objective this year is to shave at least 75 people and to collect more than $35,000 to help children with cancer and their families.
Besides helping to spread the word about this third edition of Defi tetes rasees Leucan
de Magog, the mayor has announced that she is putting her head up for shaving! She has also set a personal objective of raising $10,000 for her shaved head! “I agreed to be the spokesperson of the
Defi des tetes rasees de Leucan to show solidarity with parents who live with the incredible pain of accompanying a sick child, always hoping for their recovery. As a mother of four, I know there is nothing harder than watching your child suffer. These parents and these children really need the services of Leucan. On the other hand, my head comes with a price! So I invite the people of Magog to contribute to the Leucan campaign to reach the amount of $10,000 for my head alone,” commented the mayor. The date of the Defi tetes rasees Leucan
de Magog will be May 26th and it will take place at Ski Velo Vincent Renaud, in Magog.
