New CD for Chris Rawlings
Stanstead East apple producer and musician, Chris Rawlings, officially launched his latest CD, Autumn Gold, recently in Toronto. This new CD contains Chris’ unreleased songs from all stages in his career, including some covered by different artists and bands. About half of the songs are live performances.
Some notable artists that have supporting roles on the CD are: Anna Mcgarrigle and Wade Hemsworth, harmony on Log Driver’s Waltz; Ron Dann, pedal steel on A Farewell to Quebec; the late Scott Lang, electric guitar on House of D; Gilles Losier, fiddle on Hey Rene and Log Driver; Montreal 60s/70s folk rock group Rings and Things doing a jazz/blues version of What about the Wind, one of Mr. Rawlings’ earliest songs.
According to Mr. Rawlings, Mac users should download directly from itunes or Cd Baby, not Bandcamp. His site, www.chrisrawlings.ca is embedded in Bandcamp and is best for complete listening (best sound quality and comdownload formats for PC users.
