Redstone event teaches the public about Medicare
Redstone Villa will host a free Community of Vermont Elders (COVE) Program and Performance on Thursday, May 3rd at 1 pm. The event includes a humorous half-hour “Savy Seniors” Medicare Fraud Performance in collaboration with the Lyric Theater and a half-hour Medicare Bingo with prizes. The goal of the programs is to educate seniors about healthcare error, fraud and abuse. A question and answer period will follow and refreshments will be served. Redstone is located on 7 Forest Hill Drive, off Smith Street in St. Albans.
“This event covers some important topics that affect all of us, especially seniors,” said Redstone Villa administrator John Danforth, BS. “The event should help everyone better understand Medicare in a fun way.”
The program is sponsored by COVE’S Vermont Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) through a grant funded by the Administration on Aging. For more information call Vicki Bohannon at Redstone Villa at (802) 524-3498, COVE at 888-865-2683 or visit www.vermontelders.org.
