Red­stone event teaches the public about Medi­care

Red­stone Villa will host a free Com­mu­nity of Ver­mont El­ders (COVE) Pro­gram and Per­for­mance on Thurs­day, May 3rd at 1 pm. The event in­cludes a hu­mor­ous half-hour “Savy Se­niors” Medi­care Fraud Per­for­mance in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Lyric The­ater and a half-hour Medi­care Bingo with prizes. The goal of the pro­grams is to ed­u­cate se­niors about health­care er­ror, fraud and abuse. A ques­tion and an­swer pe­riod will fol­low and re­fresh­ments will be served. Red­stone is lo­cated on 7 For­est Hill Drive, off Smith Street in St. Al­bans.

“This event cov­ers some im­por­tant top­ics that af­fect all of us, es­pe­cially se­niors,” said Red­stone Villa ad­min­is­tra­tor John Dan­forth, BS. “The event should help ev­ery­one bet­ter un­der­stand Medi­care in a fun way.”
